Canister Closed Valve?

This is a replacement part for my 2005 Hyundai Accent that was typed up by the dealership on my invoice receipt. It said I needed to replace the canister closed valve and filter. I went to a auto parts store and the guy was asking me if I meant the purge valve. I want to know if the canister closed valve is also called the purge valve. Thanks for your help.
