Is a Taurus revolver a reliable firearm?

I want to get a reliable revolver for less than 300. I don't care if it's new or used. I found one for $299. I sold my brand new glock because it jams. I want a revolver, because (in theory) it should not have the kind of potential misfire problems that a semi-auto has. So, I'm wondering if the Taurus revolver is a pretty solid dependable firearm or not. Would you rely on it to fire more than you would on a glock semi-auto?
