Should i pass up a 10,000 dollar scholarship.?

I recently won a 10 thousand dollar scholarship. I wanted to go to a technical school for auto collision reapair but the sholarship applies only to something related to ag. So what everybody has been telling me is to go to a junoir college and get my basics because the scholarship won't work over there. What would you do. Take advantage of the scholarship or do what you have always wanted to do (me work on cars.)
