What punishment should be expected?

In Massachusetts, if someone were to be caught transporting alcohol underage what punishment should they expect? It may not matter but this someone was entirely unaware of MA's laws on driving with alcohol, being from NY (belonged to friend of age and was in friend's bag, closed).
