My husband hit someone by mistake with his work van!!?

His new van that his company purchased him has a blind spot because there is something sticking out which blocks someone. He was making a right and hit a woman but slightly cause he was turning very slow. The woman wasn't injured at all. She was fine! she was so nice that day telling my husband . Don't all an ambulance, don't call anyone. I'm fine ! He called 911 anyway because he just wanted to make sure she was okay! She didn't even want medical attention or nothing. Now he just got a letter that she's suing him! I don't understand the people who are so money hungry in this country. We are good hardworking people! Can she sue him personally or will she only be able to sue his company. He was in his work truck on company hours? Thanks in advance!
